Physical Properties of a Charoite rings

Most of Charoite Rings shows rich colors, including lavender and deep purple, sometimes with white, black, or gray streaks or spots. Depending on the specimen, it may be colorless, nearly white, and variably translucent. It says that it does not cleave well; instead, it fractures along cleavage planes.
